Another elected official has filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy. This time it is Becky Blevins, Bell County Kentucky County Clerk. Her filing looks very ordinary and but for her status as an elected official it is typical for someone in rural America. Even those who hold public office have difficulties and she should be commended for handling her problems in an appropriate way. Take a look at the documents, I think we can all sympathize with her financial difficulties because they look just like our own clients. I wish her good luck in reorganizing under Chapter 13:
Docket Report
1 Petition Part 1, Part 2, Part 3
2 Credit Counseling Certificate
3 Chapter 13 Plan
